All vehicle rentals come with a comprehensive Rental Agreement, which you will receive upon booking confirmation or when you collect your vehicle. This agreement outlines the terms, conditions, insurance coverage, fees, and your obligations related to the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria
Renting a vehicle in Daventry requires:

A valid driving licence suitable for the chosen vehicle category is required, along with proof of identity and current address. Booking and Payment Process
- Reservations can be made via our website, by telephone, or in person at our Daventry office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required upon collecting your vehicle. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

You will be liable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount, unless additional coverage is obtained. Damage resulting from negligence, misuse, or violation of these Terms remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For precise information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows could incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities or purposes. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or engaging in any hazardous driving. Transporting dangerous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purpose, and any passenger or weight limits must be respected. Driving outside the designated geographical area requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Daventry will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business resulting from your use of our services. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid for your rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts in this jurisdiction.
